Want Balance? Stretch a little. Maybe lift some weights.

If you desire more balance in your life - literally and figuratively - at coachization we encourage you to reframe the idea of “balance” into: What Does It Look Like (Self-Coaching Question) to be 1) Flexible and 2) Strong?

Balance isn’t passive. It comes about through effort. The effort is not about how many balls you can juggle at one time or how many plates you have in the air. The effort is about how can one strengthen areas of their life or work and remain flexible so that the structure is in place to support what is most important even while a circus may be going on around you. We get what we train for. Our muscles have memory and the goal is to strengthen them so they are there to help us carry the load of the balls or plates so to speak.

For the next 3 months, you will identify which areas of your life or work you want to strengthen and you’ll see how flexibility comes into play and that better balance just may be a byproduct;)
